PROJECT VERONICA: Striking Camp at Yalbang

Below Yalbang village, right by the Humla Karnali river, there is this sensational meadow. Before the coming of the Chinese to Tibet and the abrupt end of the ancient cross-border trade in these parts, there was an annual mela or fare here.
