PROJECT VERONICA: Karumbar Lake, 4188m

This lake lies on the Karumbar Pass, between Chitral and Ishkoman in the most remote corner of Pakistan's mountainous north. It is just a few kilometres from Afghanistan. Seen here after a summer snowstorm in the month of July.
