KARAKORAM: The Pamir-i-Tang

The Pamir-i-Tang is the name given to the upper Shimshal river, and it is through this difficult valley that most of the village and all their livestock migrate every spring to the summer pastures at Shujerab and Shuwert. On the right is the mountain massif of Chot Pert.
