HIMALAYA: BHUTAN: Uruthang (Warthang) - 4455m

An idyllic camp site reached after a gruelling day during which three high passes are crossed heading south from the Sasha Chhu valley - the Phodrang La - 4652m, Sake La - 4820m and Uruthang La - 4780m. On my second trip to Lunana we started from Bumthang to the south, and this was as far as we got due to apalling weather.
