BBC - MYTHS AND HEROES: SHANGRI LA: Halji Village elder

An old man from Halji village in Limi, north-west Nepal, in his ceremonial clothes. These lavishly embroidered silk were brought from Tibet when the village's monastery was founded, and are approximately one thousand years old.
